My life is actually made for TV.

Most of what I write is based on my real life. In fact, it was my divorce and the transformation that followed that inspired @thedopeassmom.

The Pilot: @thedopeassmom

Fitting into a category of entertainment I’ve dubbed “inspotainment,” @thedopeassmom is a made-for-TV comedy about becoming who you really are, unbecoming what you thought you were, and social media: thirst traps, fronting, filters, and follows. Wanting likes, wanting love, wanting to stop wanting.

The story follows Rosie, a young woman on a path of self-discovery, who explores the universal concepts of self-love, self-identity, and what it means to leave something that looks good for the possibility of something that is authentically good. There’s a spiritual level to the show ‘about social media,’ and in a larger sense, it’s a show about the paradigm shift from an outer-focused life to an inner-focused one. The process of finding more self-love while being less self-centered.

The Vision

When was the last time you heard, “You should watch more TV”?  So much of what we stream today brings us down, activates our nervous system in unhealthy ways, and, frankly, doesn’t promote our evolution into higher consciousness. Yet, more and more people seek to become the best, most evolved version of themselves. Inspotainment will meet these audiences where they’re at and even help them along the ride.

I’m looking for like-minded people in the entertainment industry who want to make this dream a reality. Sound like you? Let’s chat.
